Gillyanne Kayes' Singing and the Actor book is THE vocal technique resource for actors, dancers and Musical Theatre singers. A practical and comprehensive handbook for the modern actor/singer with techniques, hints and tips on contemporary sounds. Now in its second edition, it is a recommended text in numerous universities and conservatoires across the world.

The new Singing and the Actor Audio Guide is the official companion to Gillyanne Kayes' book. The Audio Guide takes you through all the key exercises and voice qualities described in the book, with demonstrations in male and female voice and additional commentary by the author in the accompanying 16 page CD booklet.

"I feel free and fearless for the first time in my life" (Jack Popell, Actor, Singer and teacher, Vienna)
"True breakthrough moments. When the singing techniques were put into practice, the vocal quality shifted before our eyes and ears" (Lisa Wilson, Past President, Voice and Speech Trainers Association, USA)

For those who have read the book, Gillyanne offers personal mentoring on her work, either by phone, skype or in person.

Gillyanne's 'Personalised Vocal Warmups' are available in MP3 or WAV format to performers who have received at least 3 training sessions from her either in person, by phone or over the internet. The PVWs enable you to target particular challenges (such as your 'break', vocal fatigue, limited range) or can be used to help you prepare for a new vocal style (such as moving from 'legit' to 'belting', or vice versa).
