Phone-Coaching
If you've been studying one of Paul's dialects and need to check your progress, book a phone session. If your agent calls with an audition tomorrow in a Cockney accent, or a voice-over gig in a Southern accent, book a phone session. If you're on location, and one of your actors needs to brush up her Russian accent, book a phone session. If you need to work on your English as a Second Language, book some phone sessions (the Standard British English or General American booklet and CD will be included at half-price).
Within the continental United States, Paul will call you at no extra charge; it's under $10/hour for calls to most other countries.
For actors, he not only coaches the dialect, but the acting as well, helping you seamlessly integrate the two.
It's important that the session be recorded so you can play it repeatedly. Google "phone recording devices" and you will find lots of devices to interface with your telephone and audio-recording device or computer. North American clients may view and purchase one such device at Radio Shack on-line or through a local store. For UK clients, a range of devices may be purchased from Maplins, or ReTell. Paul encourages you to record the session yourself at no extra charge.
But if you'd rather rely on Paul's expertise, he will record the session at his end and make the recording available to you for immediate download from your personal, private page (see client's personal page sample) for a small extra charge. Alternatively, we can mail you a recording of the session on a CD.
Ordering and Costs:
Phone-coaching rates are: $45 for a 15-minute session, $70 for a 30-minute session, and $125 for one hour (check rates for discounted multiple-session rates and all policies and procedures). We offer the following discounts on items purchased at the same time: 50% off any booklet/CD; 10% off Accents and Dialects for Stage and Screen, or Dialects of the British Isles. Add $20 for an instant online download of an mp3 recording of the session, or $29.65 (includes Priority Mail postage within the US) if you would like Paul to record the session and mail you the CD.
