Online Workshops
Overview
An attractive, green alternative to traditional, in-person workshops, Skype video-conferencing links multiple participants, anywhere on the planet. Everyone hears everyone else; everyone sees and hears Paul; and file-sharing tools further enhance communication and learning. The whole conference is recorded as a video and instantly available on the group's personal, private page. Many prefer it over traditional in-person workshops.
Or, instead of meeting via multiple computers, participants can gather in the same room and share a single Webcam. Ideal for larger groups. Great for theatre and film companies, schools, and corporations. An hour, a day, a weekend, or longer.
If you are interested in a particular topic (specific dialects, accent reduction, Shakespeare performance, voice-over, etc.), share the cost with a group of friends. List some convenient dates when you e-mail Paul with your request. Also see phone-coaching.
Technical Requirements
It couldn't be simpler! All you need is a free Skype subscription, a Webcam, and earphones.
Fees
E-mail Paul for a quote. Tell him the topics or the project, the number of participants, and some preferred dates.
In-Person Workshops
Paul will design a workshop or master class just for your group. He offers dialects for actors, accent reduction, Shakespeare acting, or voice-over, single day or longer. If it's acting with an accent you're after, workshop participants receive a copy of Paul's dialect textbook, Accents and Dialects for Stage and Screen.
Many theatres schedule a workshop during rehearsal for a production for which they have leased Paul's show-specific dialect CDs. He works one-on-one with the show's actors as well as with other participants.
Contact Paul for more information about workshops (online or in-person), master classes, or residencies.
